We thank you for your interest in Rum Runner Days past, present and future! We will update the website in the coming months with the dates for Rum Runner Days 2008. In the mean time, please feel free to come on in and look around to see what adventures we had at Rum Runner Days 2007. Sincerely, Crowsnest Pass Community Events Association The Crowsnest Pass has the most interesting and fascinating stories to tell of any region in Canada – not only from its uniqueness, but also from its diversity. From some of Canada’s most catastrophic disasters such as the Frank Slide and the Hillcrest Mine Disaster, to the building of the unprecedented Crowsnest Railroad, to the Sentinel Train Robbery and illegal liquor trade (the famous Canadian Opera “Filumena”-our own Crowsnest Pass History/Story), but most of all, from its rich and remarkable history created by the people that came to the Crowsnest Pass from every corner of the world. Come and join us for our annual Rum Runner Days & Thunder in the Valley as we celebrate the deep rooted history, culture and heritage of the Crowsnest Pass and its people. Events begin on July 19th and continue through until July 21, 2007. For details and times got to Events page. You can view our 2007 brochure here. You can view the 2007 Open Doors pamphlet here. We sincerely look forward to having you participate in our celebrations. Marion Vanoni, Chairperson
